The Old Bookshop was a former bookshop located on Bedford Road, St Ives. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house oozes character and is located 2 minutes away from St Ives town centre, making it the perfect location for a couples getaway to St Ives. With shelves full of books, a real log fire and antique tiffany lamps dotted around the property, it really does feel like a home away from home. The outside patio area is fully equipped with a gas barbecue which is free for guests to use.

Living/ dining area: Sit in a tastefully decorated living area complete with real log fireplace, antique Tiffany lampshades and inset book shelves – in keeping with the houses previous life as St Ives’ Old Bookshop. With bespoke made wooden shutters to keep your privacy and comfy leather armchairs and footstools for you to fully relax into. The dining area consists of a 2 seater dining table with fruit bowl.
Kitchen: Find everything you need in the Old Bookshop kitchen to make you feel right at home when your cooking, there is even a coffee machine (a couple of pods supplied) as well as barbecue equipment (and even a gas barbecue outside!) fully equipped with a fridge and freezer box, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and storage cupboard.
Patio/outside area : leading on from the kitchen area you’ll find an absolute little sun trap attached to the property, with outside seating, a small planted area and even a gas barbecue which is free for guests to use during their stay!
Bedroom: A spacious bedroom complete with king sized bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and television. There is a safety rail at the top of the stairs for night time use. Local artwork scattered on the walls and the comfiest armchair for your nighttime reading. The bathroom/ en-suite has a walk in shower, heated mirror, WC and sink.
Guest access: Guests have access to the full house including outside patio area.
